Re: Jac

Angie - Wednesday. Hes only 2 & eats a crunchy diet so that dispells the theory that hard crunchy food keeps the teeth healthy. Our vet says sometimes its down to genetics. They do get 2-3 sachets of felix between them at breakfast but theres really only a few suck the jelly off the felix mostly its left. Jac just likes his crunchy grub

Re: Jac

Poor Jac, Velvet.I do hope he sails through it.Your lovely boy looks very much like my Dickens who is also having tooth troubles. i wonder if white cats are more prone to trouble with teeth. Dickens also lives on crunchy RC kibble, ,one wet RC pouch a day plus a raw chicken neck or two. Warm soft cuddles to poor Jac at this time.

Re: Jac

Your vet seems to agree with mine Velvet - some cats are just prone to tartar build up it seems. Kizzy has beautiful clean teeth (she's 6 or 7) and Pip has a bit of build up and eats the same kibble and freshly caught rodent.

Thoughts will be with you and Jac tomorrow.

Re: Jac

Poor Jac, two years of age, eats crunchy hard food he isnt fussed on wet food & he needed two teeth out. A big top back tooth (3 pronged root) & a smaller front tooth on the top. Poor wee man took hours to recover once home.

He has antibiotics & pain relief home with him x

Re: Jac

Poor Jac - I did think of him yesterday and sent healing calm vibes and will continue to do that today. Gentle smooths for him too.
