The shortest month, but feels never ending: it's-1C now, wind chill -7C. But next week's supposed to be better......

Seriously though, I do sympathise, I hate being cold. I always tell my mum that she gave birth on the wrong side of the equator, therefore its all her fault I am a miserable soul

Poor mum, she gets blamed for everything.

I'm with you there. Elaine: I hate being cold too. I was born in one of the all-time hottest Summers ever recorded in Washington; think that might have some bearing on it?

I annoy my friends in July and August who're moaning about how hot it is and I announce that it's a lovely day......
