daily thread - Thursday

It's a nice bright morning here. Market in a minute, to get some fish; optician to colect my contact lenses (Moli and I are 'activity twins' today), fill up with petrol and over to my mums and we'll both go to visit dad. Hope we may get some clarity as to how the future may pan out today or shortly.
I hope today is calm and peaceful for those who have had bad times recently, and that everyone has a good one.

Off to the office in a while. Have a rotten sore throat again but yesterday's head muzziness has gone, which is good.

Not much else to report as yet

Re: daily thread - Thursday

Morning all, Bright day here. Have had a lie in this morning, first one in ages as it's half term, not my day to do the horses, didn't have any appointments this morning and the toothache that has been bothering me of late has gone

Em has an appointment at the dentist this afternoon, she is finally having that baby tooth out under IV sedation. It's been a long haul to get this little tooth out but hopefully she will be rid of it today. Interestingly, Em has a lot of problems with her teeth similar to how I was at her age, I do wonder about the heredtary aspect of what I am going through right now? Must discuss this with her dentist at some point. Luckily Tom seems to have problem free teeth.

DM - hope you find your dad as well as can be expected and that you can get a clearer picture of what the futures holds for him x

Have a good day all

Re: daily thread - Thursday

Hi all,

My hubby is poorly, he came home from work early yesterday feeling ill, chesty cough & couldn't get his breath. Then hot / cold sweats & feeling sick.... still feels awful today & Ashleigh has got a sore throat & feels sick.... I can see Saturdays birthday party being cancelled!

I have to take the 3 newbies to the vets this afternoon for their blood tests.

And more searching the internet for fires, although there's only so much looking at fire baskets/log burners/fire surrounds & hearths you can do ... getting bored of it now

Dull and gloomy here! Had a bit of a lie in this morning, but only 'cause OH and I sat up until 1.30am watching Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest on DVD. Thoroughly enjoyed, some good laugh out loud moments, but I'm shattered today though! Just general housework on the cards today, what fun. Hope everyone has a good day.

Re: daily thread - Thursday

Was up bright and early then out to the park with BLUE!!!! Yes I have him home at last.
The workmen arrived at 8.30 this morning to finish the kitchen. Its only been three days but it feels like forever.
Blue's back leg is really giving him jip. He's walking on three and even to pee I have to have the tree/hedge or whatever he wants to pee on, on his bad side as he cant weight bear on it. Looks like a visit to the vet .

DM I hope you find your Dad well and get a nice picture for the future. Fingers crossed.
