Daily Thread / Valentines Day

Morning all, damp here but the rain has stopped. I'm off up to sort the horses out shortly. Not much else planned except I have a dental appointment this afternoon.

Hope you all enjoy a romantic day today x

Off with Dominik to the hairdressers; his hair is becoming unmanageable so needs a hefty trim - don't worry it'll still be on the long side though

My surprise email invitation for tonight means I have to carry out an unscheduled hair wash . . . drat - but hey, it's potentially an evening out so I mustn't grumble (too much ).

Re: Daily Thread / Valentines Day

Not much to report here - it's damp and miserable weather. I've got a boring day at work ahead of me and then the gym tonight!!! Not that I'm complaining - I've got Friday off work, so a lovely long weekend to look forward to!!! Yaaaaay!!!

Have a good day all.

Hi all. The girls are off to their friends for the day & having a BBQ . I'm going to try & do some more sorting today as we are still getting back to normal from the builders, must get the loft sorted.
I also need to have an hour doing some paperwork.
My dog is getting spayed today. {{{hugs}}} for Carli.

Re: Daily Thread / Valentines Day

Think I should have put this here (the daily thread) rather than the special valentine thread so have copied over - apologies for duplication
OH has a day off so we are doing lunch (fiver a head special at the Italian! ) and afternoon pictures (movie/cinema/film - showing my age there; I always say pictures but I don't think it's the modern idiom. What do you say?)

I always think going to the pictures in daylight is decadent! Seeing The History Boys - hope it's as good as the reviews say.
So - off for my day out. Have a good day everyone, and if you are looking for romance I hope you get it!

Re: Daily Thread / Valentines Day

Hi! It's a lovely sunny day here and warmth can be felt from the sun at last

Have been into town this morning as I'm looking for a new clock (mantel) ...... can't find one anywhere. I have a carriage clock at present but want to replace it with something a bit bigger. I've looked in H. Samuels, other jewellery shops and some department stores but thet all seem to be concentrating on wall clocks. If anyone has any ideas of a well known shop/store where there is a bigger range, I would appreciate it!

Smudgley ~ I hope all goes well with Carli.....

Enjoy the rest of the day all!
