Hoping to go to scotland this year

been to wales a few times, all over england. so this year we are going to go to scotland. i was born there, and want to go and see where i went to school (juniper green) my godparents had a nice house there and id love to track it down again. when they died they gave it to the church so ppl can pay to see it.
it will be nice to get away. ive got a house sitter all sorted out, my daughter im sure she will be happy playing house with her n her boyfriend
we will be stopping in bed n breakfasts luxury, only drawback is we are going on the scooter so will be restricted to carrying clothing ect. but looking forward to it. havnt had a holiday for a few yrs. just moved house a few times lol

Is Juniper Green on the Dalkeith Road? - I'm sure I pass it on my way to see friends in Kelso.

It is a lovely part of the country if it is the same place.

Hope you enjoy.

Re: Hoping to go to scotland this year

juniper green isnt too far from edinburgh, when i was a wee lass it was a train ride to edinburgh. shows how quick the city expands.
when i was little my mum n dad too me up Arthurs seat i was so happy that they had named a huge mountain after my dad (ok i was only 4 at the time lol)
but i so want to go back there,
and i lost my accent many years ago. but pretty sure i could get it back, this essex accent is only borrowed u know.
