What do you think?

Ok I have just had a phone call off a friend from work, she's really stressing because our manager is sending her up to occy health because of the amount of time she has had off work this year, since January she has missed 12 days off work but 7 days of this was covered by a doctors note because she had broken her finger (we are not in the type of job that you can go in if you have sprained, pulled, fractured anything no matter how small)3 of these days she had actually gone into work but was sent home and the other 2 she had off as her granddad was really ill in hospital.
Our manager is getting all touchy over everything lately as we have the mental health commission coming and inspecting the place so its like we are constantly walking around on egg shells.
my mate is really worried she is going to face disciplinary (sp) action.
Im sure they cant do this can they?i shouldnt think they would be able to use the 7 days that was covered by a doctors note, even if she didnt have the doctors note she wouldnt have been able to go in.so that would just leave 5 days which imo isnt really alot since jan.
Just wandered what you all thought?

I think if she goes to them and explains exactly what you have just said, then there is nothing they can do to her!

Petty is right! Actually only 5 days; that's certainly a reasonable amount. Hope it works out all right for her!
