Well, for the first time in about 20 years I didn't have to cook Christmas Lunch. We decided that this year we would eat out. We took my mum to a lovely hotel and had a very nice Christmas lunch, it wasn't quite the same as being at home but very enjoyable all the same. here's a couple of piccies..

Tom and his Grandma..

Hubby, Em, Tom and my mum..

Tom (He's going to kill me for posting these )

Re: Christmas Lunch

Thank you. Since my sister got maried about 4 years ago, we take it in turns to have my mum (who is going up the hill for 80 ) for Christmas lunch. Prior to my sister getting married, I used to do the dinner for my mum and my sister every year, so it's strange on the years we now do not have them. This year it was our year to have mum and we decided that it would be nice to do something different, my mum loves to eat out plus it meant she could enjoy her Christmas lunch cat/dog hair free

That does look lovely! Sometimes it's good to do something different. And Tom is looking EVER so grown up these days.

Re: Christmas Lunch

They are very lovely family photos Fran. It looks very popular there too. I have often considered going out for Christmas lunch but would hate to be disappointed with the food.
