Model village

Here are some pictures of the model village i visited with friends recently.
The village is in Bourton on the water, each building is made of stone and represents buildings in the real village.
There is even a model of the model of the model village.

Model of the model of the model village

Re: Model village

That's amazing Shelley, it looks so realistic.

I've visited the Model Village in Babbacome, Devon a few times and it always amazes me the amount of detail they put into the models.

How fab. You can almost imagine tiny people scurrying about the village on their daily business

Oh Shelley, that brings back memories - I went to Bourton-on-the-water with my parents when I was a child many, many years ago. I wonder if I have any photos still ......... Those buildings are so beautifully crafted.

Me too

I also lived near Bourton for a while and visited there a good number of times and I've never heard of this model village. It's beautiful, as is its full-sized counterpart.
