Azalea

I've always called this azalea my OH's as he was given it as a birthday present by his workmates.
It's 2 days past it's best, but I thought I'd snap it quick and post it.
Now how can something which is basically all white bring so much 'colour' to the garden?

and another remarkably similar pic

and as for the Catnep
Well - if I didn't know I'd say it was a nettle. I do hope it comes up with a flower sometime. It's certainly growing well

Re: Azalea

They're acid loving/lime hating Alex.
Mine (OH's!) has to grow in a planter full of ericaceous compost and needs to be fed with sequestered iron etc as it would stand no chance on our chalk

Re: Azalea

What a lovely azalea. Mine has well and truly gone over this year - still smells of BO though!

My catnip seedlings are coming on well, but are only about 3 cms tall atm - in a hanging basket in the greenhouse out of harm's way.

Re: Azalea

That's a lovely azalea. The catnep foliage does look very much like my catnip foliagewise; mine is starting to show the beginning of flower buds will post a pic when it does.

Re: Azalea

Lovely - I have pinks and oranges but cannot seem to get the white to flower.

Now you have made me so envious!
