Re: Its Christmas so share

My fav Christmas movie I think top spot is shared between
Scrooge "Albert Finney" as Scrooge great film and

My fav cartoon, The snowman (what else)

My fav song, Ah a question and a half that one. I like Little drummer boy - whoever the singer but like David Bowie and Bing Crosbie. And Santa Baby.

And book that makes Christmas is Christmas Carol by Dickens who else. This year is Taylor's year to read it to us, a little odd family trait my Dad used to read it to us out loud ( started about a fortnight before Christmas) then as we got older we took it in turns to read it I read it for the first time at about 9-10 I think for a couple of years then Mick then Di. Then Dad starte readingit to Katie and then Sophie and Jack, katie read it for the first time about 4-5 years ago Sophie about 2 years ago now Taylors turn as she is 9 she'll more than likely read it for a couple of years then Louis, then Molly. The children adore reading loud to the family it really improves their reading and confidence.

Interesting about the family tradition of reading The Christmas Carol! I've re-read this every year during Christmas week for many, many years! Never get tired of it; it's part of the Chistmas routine.......
