Re: Vera's final performance.

I was a little disappointed tbh. Just thought it was a bit of an anti-climax after all the hype

Re: Vera's final performance.

I havent seen Corrie in many months but made the effort tonight. I agree with Fran, wasnt much of a send off for one of the longest actors in the show, a bit drab!

Re: Vera's final performance.

TBH I think you needed to have seen or followed the last couple of months of Corrie to have really understood tonight ...... she died very happy. Unlike other serials or soaps when the person leaving has a fatal accident

Oh no, I think it was brilliantlydone, nothing grand not a mugging, a fire, bus crash or a train coming off the tracks she died as lots of people die in their own home.

I thought it was brilliantly done.

Is Vera dead?

I don't watch it, but what happened? How did she pop her cloggs?

Re: Vera's final performance.

she quietly slipped away while sitting in her chair while Jack was in the Rovers for a pint. A lovely dignified ending for a much loved character. It was the lovely way in which 'Jack' played his role that was so touching.
