I'm sorry I haven't been around Smudgley and have only just seen this. It seems like you have everything very much under control - well done! You have done pretty much what I would have suggested, putting loads of blankets / vet bed outside and letting the kittens snuggle up to mum outside. Hope all continues to go well for mum and the babies from here.
