Re: Where do I stand?

I would think its a case of making you feel better about it as much as anything else. So put the trellis up.

Re: Where do I stand?

Just had a chat with the neighbour on the opposite side to the pikey people. She works at the school the pikey children go to. She has overheard the pikey mother saying that the dog has already bitten her

Re: Where do I stand?

That's a real worry Donna. If the dog is out of control then maybe a quiet word with the RSPCA or council dog warden might be in order?

Well on the positive maye the dog wont stay for long and you've got your fence up
The downside Poor dog, no nicer breed than a Rottie.

Are they? I assumed they were not nice - seem to recall a fair few horror stories in the papers re dogs attacking kids/babies and they being rottweilers....

Know not all dogs are bad.. but thought rottweilers were a common occurance in the dog attack stories...

Maybe I am over sensitive to these stories..

Re: Where do I stand?

A Rottie in bad hands can be a real danger, just like any other dog, but their size and guarding instincts make them more "switched on" in certain circumstances, i.e guarding. I board loads, all fine, apart from a couple of males, who are "pushy" but perfectly managable.

Re: Where do I stand?

A bad dog is normally the result of a bad owner, like Kazz I know a lot of rottie owners, one has 4 of them and they are big soft lumps...It only takes 1 bad one to spolit it for all the rest as many staffy owners know...
I would have a word with the local dog warden...
