Re: Our Kazz is in hospital

Bloody hell you lot are lovely but a bit daft.

I am home must say I was bad the weekend...I have had a ruptured overian cyst which was on the verge of septicaemia. Seems I did not have food poisioning or kidney infection but this was brewing.... I also have a mass in my right side which is a fibroid, had an Xray (Sat night), 2 ultra sounds (Sat night and Sunday) 1 CAT scan(yesterday) and 1 MRI (today) I am being discussed at the hospital Thursday, by an assortment of Doctors...and informed on Friday. Then into see the consultant on Monday Tuesday next week.
I had 8 litres (or whatever) of saline solution pumped into me between 4pm Sat and 9pm Sunday...so I was terribly dehydrated...no wonder I felt ill. But feel fine now.

So looks like major surgery for me very shortly.

Feels much better than last week and a billion times better than the weekend.

Will let you know how I go. I am not allowed back to work until they have sorted out what is causing the sudden growth spurts.

Feel tired but not too bad in discomfort but not pain and enough tablets to open my own chemists.

Ah could be worse lots of people appear to be ill for ages and not diagnosed for years..whereas I was ill diagnosed and now to be treated...so good in a fuinny sort of way.

Thanks for all the good wishes and Elaine Sorry to cut you off earlier but I was literally stood outside the hospital in the freezing cold in my nighty and jogging shorts waiting for my lift to escape. (that eager to go home)

Karen

Glad you're home and feeling a bit better; how fortunate they caught it early. Do take it easy and get all the rest you need.

Re: Our Kazz is in hospital

So glad to hear from you Kazz - good news that you feel better. Dehydration is a scary thing apart from everything else. Fingers crossed your gang of doctors decide what to do PDQ so you can get it over with and start to get well again.
