I'm logging off now to see if Beauty's ready for attention now. A few minutes ago she told me no she didn't want strokes and attention but I'll see if she's changed her mind and feels OK enough to be gently stroked and sat with.

May I guess again...being that this is Hallowe'en themed, know there is a dish called Toad In The Hole...but haven't the remotest idea what it is.......

Devils on horseback is correct! I believe that pigs in a blanket is either a sausage in pastry (US) or a sausage or chipolota (small sausage) wrapped in bacon (UK).
