That sounds good meep. Thank goodness for agile young minds Nov 14 is fine by me but there may be slower readers. So, chirp up everyone - 14 Nov or later? |

Off topic meep - have you read The Yacoubian Building by Alaa Al Aswany? I found it fascinating in terms of giving what seemed an authentic insight into life in Cairo. He's a dentist! - Amazing. If he is as good a dentist as he is an author, his patients must have glorious gnashers |

I've had notification from Waterstone's that my copy of "Notes ...." has been dispatched, so with any luck I should get it by 1st November. Whether 2 weeks is long enough - with me depends on whether I get "hooked" or not! Thanks for the pointers meep - I do agree with your suggestion of reading books of a sort that you wouldn't normally choose. I used to find offers like 3 for the price of 2 really good for that - get two books you really want and the extra one go as far "off" as you like! |

We can hold off a bit longer from Nov 1st, no point starting if none of us have the book I'll head into town on the Sat to pick up the book. If people dont have it by the 1st we could extend the deadline? |
