Re: Very worried about Zeke

Can't believe this - how must the owner feel. Send a dog to someone elses care and it comes back and ends up on a drip in the vets. What the h*** was this trainer doing?? Even if the dog is ill, why was vet care not sought earlier.

I know dobes don't always do well with change but the weight loss must have been obvious.

Sending him ((hugs)) and hope he improves.

My sentiments exactly, its not like we are talking about a few pounds in weight.
I think will be trouble for this so called trainer ahead as Zekes breeder and the owners brother are furious about what has happened to the poor dog and are asking all sorts of questions and seeking advice from other breeders, trainers and vets.
I dont know anymore at this stage but I will keep you informed when I know anything.
My main concern at this time is to support the owner to help Zeke.

Re: Very worried about Zeke

He sounds like a b****y brute. I hate people who do things like that to animals. He shouldnt be allowed to practice what he does again. Please keep us updated when you can.

Spoke to Elaine earlier, Zeke is back home from the vets and is doing much better,he still has a long way to go but hes found his bark again so that can only be a good sign
Lets hope she has her most stubborn client back real soon

Out of the forest but not perhaps out of the woods yet. Fingers still crossed for Zeke.
