Re: Hi! I'm trying to get 2 kittens but in homecheck hell! Please advise?

Right so i've got the kitts home now and all set up in the bathroom with loads of space to run leap and play and after a bit of a stressful journey home for Firefly (she was sick) they have been running around playing for over an hour. Pixie (the brindle Tortie) was first out of the carrier and exploring everywhere. Firefly was alot more dubious and took a while to come out and then just followed her sister everywhere copying her. Trying not to intervene with them but am a tad worried that they won't like me? They don't want to be picked up and bend their spines down showing nerves when I stroke them! Pixie seems to be oblivious to me and they've just started to fall asleep so i've left them to it. I'm a bit worried they haven't been held enough before 7 weeks, when apparently it is really important to socialise them. What if at 8.5 weeks like they are now it is too late and they'll never let be stroke them or they'll never sit on my lap?

I don't like my new Mum and neither does my sis Pixie! What can she do?

Awwww! Especially Pixie, she looks so much like my late Patches! It's all new and strange to them today; give them a little time to explore and settle in, I'm sure they'll be less apprehensive around you. Thay are darlings!

They are so cute hun, Dont worry about them not wanting to know you, when we got peanuts she totally ignored us for about 3 weeks so we left her to it and one night she just came for a cuddle.
Now she wont leave us alone xx

All kittens are skittish......but I am sure they will be curled up on your lap - pinning you to any chair they can sooner than you realise.

They look lovely.
