What a nice selection: I do envy people with large plots...I just have a small city backyard with enough room for 3 tomatoes, 3 hot peppers,some borlotto shelling beans, scallions & some radishes. Herbs are basil, coriander,oregano & a perennial rosemary bush (used some if it making my soup tonight). What varieties of tomatoes do you grow? We get the Thompson & Morgan catalogue here, & I am partial to several European varieties: Carmello and Larissa...they have the old-fashioned tomato flavor!

Hi Dandysmom, my plot isn't that big I have two raised beds which I think are about 8 foot x 5 foot. A lot of the veg listed above I grow are actually "mini" varieties so they do not take up that much space and it is amazing how much mini veg you can grow in a smallish plot.

Off the top of my head one of the varieties of tomato I grow are Moneymaker (quite a common type here in the UK) I also grow a yellow variety which I think is called sunburst, both of these are quite small fruit

Some of the herbs I have planted in a pot on my kitchen windowsill They are just starting to come up
