Re: Its Sunday - so lounge around

Afternoon, all.
Lazy Sunday around here, indeed...K is fast asleep and the cats are the most active creatures right now
Solomon is sure starting to get vocal. Not the howling I was expecting from Siamese but more like little comments. "Mrrr....mrrr....ouuuu?" and such
Solomon has a new thing..he loves to be pet...through the bars of a ferret cage..? He was in the big cage last night and I stuck my fingers in thru the bars cooing at him and he went nuts rubbing himself and purring and shamelessly throwing himself this way and that for some pets. Opened the door and it was a different cat--cool and collected. Close the door and fingers through the bars again and he is being the most affectionate I've ever seen him, even grabbing my fingers with his paws and licking and rubbing his lips on them. What a silly boy! No idea why the bars make a difference but whatever's clever
Have a good day, all

We don't get Easter Monday or Boxing Day
What I like about your Public Holidays is that they're all meaningful, I wish we had days that were celebratory of our country

Re: Its Sunday - so lounge around

Well, they should be meaningful, but unfortunately most have degenerated into occasions for stores to have huge sales; not too many people stop to reflect what the day is about any more. Just another day off work. The papers are full of ads for the upcoming Labor Day sales ..... Oh I do sound like an old fogy, don't I?
