You know Yola, I think the kids loved the fact that it wasn't organised to death! They played, ran about, ate and ran about some more with a couple of party games thrown in. Tbh, I think children and parents are bored to the back teeth of fancy over the top parties and more and more are going back to basics! The girls had party bags with a few sweets, a bit of cake, a plastic bangle and a bottle of bubbles and you would have thought they had been given the crown jewels, and every one (apart from the stroppy one lol) said they had had a fab time! |

Yup - parties here are getting a bit crazy too! Each parent trying to outdo the other and being SO politically correct by inviting every kid in the class  I'm planning a bit of a bash for Domi's birthday but that's only coz I've not done one at all for him so far, and also coz he can only invite 8 kids due to the restrictions on the particular 'treat'  |

I invited every kid in the class for both Raechels and Hayleys first birthday after they started school, but only that one time. Every time after that has been a maximum of 6, and only twice have the parties not been held at home! Raechels next 2 birthdays will be to have 2 friends to take to the cinema or something similar and no more parties until her 13th, Hayley gets another couple similar to today and then the same as Raechel. Perfectly normal to do a bigger one for Dom as you haven't done one so far, but I quite agre that it is gettin out of hand. I mean some people are spending up to £1000 on their kids parties! NUTS!! |

Super pics, Alex! Lovely to see the girls enjoying themselves so much...you're right, some parties are just so strutctured! Obviously a big success, and hope the tooth fairy was good to Hayley! And I liked the pic of Jac and Teddie...Teddie looked as if she's rather be scrounging for a ham sandwich! And Jac, don't worry about chins...wait till you get old enough and you'll have jowls and a wattle like me!!!!!  |
