See I like to finish my towels off in the tumble dryer so they stay soft on the line drying makes them stiff/hard.

My DIL was agog one day when she found me ironing tea-towels, I didn't like to tell her about the dusters!

I've always ironed towels, I blame my mum for that!

Re: Sundae Sunday

If it needs ironing I don't buy it! Count me in the slob group too: tea towels, handkerchiefs, no, no. no!! Life is too short to waste it ironing!

Re: Sundae Sunday

I iron more or less nothing. My Mum irons a fair amount (I'm forever telling her she doesn't have to iron stuff for me if she ends up doing laundry for me - though that's fairly rare occurrence now).

I've a friend who irons almost Everything. Yes, including said knickers. I think she's trying to train herself not to, but have no idea how well that's going. I know she struggled with it the first time or two, she may well have given up on the attempt...

Could ironing be considered an addiction???

Re: Sundae Sunday

I would think anything taken to extremes regularly might be considered an addiction .........

Re: Sundae Sunday

True. I wonder about a form of OCD or similar in relation to it... I think when you can't handle creases in your clothing (etc) before you use said items...
