Re: Windy weather

Well my shed felt has parted company with the shed, the wheelbarrow has done a freestyle type of movement round the garden with the assistance of the wind. A bell tower attached to a church up the road has parted company but no one hurt as such round here. Thankfully but seems 7 people killed in UK

Re: Windy weather

10 people killed now Including the passenger of a car in Streatley, just down the road from where my office is.

Hubby came home bitching about the disruption to the business; I told him to count himself lucky not to have been hurt as Streatley is about a mile or so from our office

Re: Windy weather

It took my SIL 3 hours to drive to work. Normally a half hour drive. The snow brought everyone to a standstill. The gritters and snow ploughs couldnt get through because of the traffic

Yes its by my sister she saw it go, the thing is the tower isor was one side of the church and fell into the car parkey thing the other way and it would have fallen into the primary school playground and it was about 1/2 an hour after the school was out and the last of the hangers on mother wise had gone lots park there and go to the school - timing seems to have been everything today.
