Re: Bedroom makeover

Thanks Fran, just makes me want to get moving on the other three rooms that need to be done now (other bedroom, front room and dinning room)

Re: Bedroom makeover

It looks lovely, Emma; like the colors. Matte paint is nicer, I agree, and love your chandelier!

Re: Bedroom makeover

That looks really sophisticated Emma. I much prefer matt paint finish too. (See the cats have been banished!)

Re: Bedroom makeover

What are your plans for the other rooms? but have you noticed decorating is a little like painting the forth bridge you start with one room and when you get finished its back to the start again.

Re: Bedroom makeover

lol I know what you mean Kazz, well the bathroom, kitchen, one bedroom have now all be decorated. We need to get new windows for the front of the property first, the second bedroom will be very similar to this one but we have got heavy pine furniture which we will be keeping, front room is a total makeover, new flooring (carpet) one wall needs to be replastered, curtains, new three piece suite, luckily we have already got the TV we want but will be getting a new speaker system. Dining room just needs to be repainted and a new wood floor and then the wallway will just need new flooring and painting.

Then next year we are considering doing a loft conversion and everything will change

Re: Bedroom makeover

Angie you know you cannot bannish cats, whenever I got out a paintbrush you could guarantee Oscar would just have to brush against it even if somewhere he never went before or since- or until paint was in the mix again.
