Very interesting about the high calcium counts. Good job that this seems to have stabilised.

Have you considered that this might be a thyroid issue? The reason I say this is (long story) is that I was hospitalized with pancreatitis in 1995 which was caused by excessive levels of calcium which in turn was caused by an overactive parathyroid which is one of the little nodules that sits on the thyroid gland. Nodule was removed and all's been fine since.

But he has been a brave boy hasn't he? Bless him . . . hope he continues in good health

That was one of the tests they ran and it came back normal.

beautiful fluffy babies, theyv got that same grumpy look as my scruffy, she cant look happy even if shes having a blissful time.

He's had that many tests its quite hard to keep up!

Bloods every fortnight since March
Body scan
x rays
bone marrow biopsy
Special blood tests for the thyroid thing
its never ending!!

I've claimed back £4k from Petplan since March - thank god for insurance!!

i love the lion cut, there was a big red cat near where we used to live had that cut, must admit he didnt look too impressed about it, always walked around with a scowl on his face.

Hi Love the pics. You forget they are quite small under all that fur hee hee, Mum and Dad had a long haired cat and when they bathed him he just seemed to shrink!!!!!! Fab pics and your big red boy is adorable
