Re: Frankie has pnuemonia and below normal temp

thanks for all the kind words. Today Frankie's temp registered 98.1. So it came up but it is still not normal. He drank some of the juice in some canned food and drank a little milk. He also likes to drink right from the sink, so we took him to the sink and dripped the water so he could drink. Now he is lying in our bed, covered up, and with a hot water bottle. The vet says the next 2-3 days are crucial.

Re: Frankie has pnuemonia and below normal temp

Frankie's temp is down again this afternoon. It is only 97.2.
He did eat a little canned but it is hard to keep him warm. He keeps moving away from the hot water bottles. We have a blanket between him and the bottles so its not too hot.
Just wish we could get his temp up.

Re: Frankie has pnuemonia and below normal temp

Frankie's temp was a wonderful 101.5 today. He is eating well and seems to almost be his old self. He still wants to go in the bedroom to sleep, but he wants someone to hold him while he sleeps. Good thing he is not spoiled!
Thanks for all the kind words and prayers.
