Re: Daily Thread / Sunday

Well got up late this morning no idea why but the dogs were good about it I got up at 5am as normal let them out for a wee and then went back to bed.
Woke up at 8 - had cup coffee and took them out its wet and miserable...popped to the vets for some drops for Tess's ears (nothing serious)

Early this morning about 5.00am the dogs were totaly interested in something but I couldn't see what and thought no more of it.
Before I went out on the walk this morning, I saw a baby bird a starling or a blackbird (def a baby but a little bigger than a sparrow) soaking wet and crouching down. Went to the vets he was still there, when I came back he was still there so have moved an old bird box onto the ground near him and put some seed down - not sure if he will survive but I hope so.

Fingers crossed. Karen

Mrs H. It sounds like you have a leak there.

I'm all alone at the moment . It's really nice. Going out in about an hour or so to get all the things I forgot yesterday .
Going over to my Mums tonight so I wont be on. Just letting you know in case you sent out a search party

Re: Daily Thread / Sunday

Afternoon, ladies! The January thaw is over: only 4 degrees now and rain predicted this afternoon and thru the night. But at least it's sunny. Nothing planned, just a lazy Sunday: papers, crossword, Catsey.

MrsH: how annoying! Does sound like a leak somewhere; I only bleed the radiators once a year...

Enjoy your day....
