We are going on 31st March for 2 weeks Kazz .......... and staying on Crocodile Island which is an island in the Nile and not far from Luxor. We visited the pyramids a few years ago so thought we'd see the Valley of the Kings this time..

Valley of the Kings is spectacular! We did a week's Upper Nile cruise some years back and loved the country. We went it July and it was blisteringly hot - March should be more bearable.

I hate to think how hot that was in July Yola

The temperature should be in the 80ºs when we go which is plenty hot enough for me..

What a great way to start the New Year Mags. I've never been to Egypt. I am looking to book something myself for me and OH in June. I have a girly trip planned for May (Spain) and me and OH are going to Belfast end of January (not really blowing away the cobwebs that though is it???)

Afternoon. Delightful warm spell continues, it's 15 degrees now and 22 predicted by afternoon here...loving it! Back to the deep freeze by the weekend, however...

Had the porch open for several hours yesterday and Leia was so happy to be out without freezing her stripey tail off..

Been ordering lots of seeds and summer bulbs for the garden makeover; makes Spring seem a bit closer. No news other than the daily market run
