You must be younger than me then Mags!!! I remember those flower shaped ones too!

I remember the large ones, but I never saw fruit-shaped ones.......they were multi-colored, and if one bulb went out the entire string went dead; a mess finding out which one to replace!!

Yes, they were a pain, weren't they - I remember my Dad going spare trying to find the one that had gone!
