Re: Horiffic act in my neighborhood!

Dear lord!!! I despair of the human race when I read these things. We trully are very nasty creatures.

I agree Elaine. The human will hurt out of spite, something I think every other creature will not and does not do We are indeed a vicious and vindictive lot.

Eileen - it's very frightening when something like that happens on home turf. Living in the centre of a large town which does have a bit of an anti-social problem, I can relate to your horror of having something like that on your doorstep.

That is so awful DiM The poor man, I hope he recovers well. It beggars belief that someone could think it's OK to treat another human being like that. Par for the course these days but it's just so wrong

Re: Horiffic act in my neighborhood!

It is unnerving Yola, right on your doorstep so to speak! We do have high crime areas in some parts of the City, but not here; almost unheard of. My neighborhood, Glover Park, isn't one of the really posh areas like Georgetown or Spring Valley, but it is relatively crime free. aside from things like car theft, the very occasional burglary and minor property destruction things like that just don't happen!
I'm praying that the bartender isn't burned too badly and will make a good recovery..
