Do there seem to be a lot of mice around this year, more than usual? Or is it just at our house?

We seem to be presented with them very regularly here as well as those we trap in the garage (humane traps, OH takes them to the woods for release!)

OH trod on one on the landing in the dark the other night, flushed it away!!

As soon as the combines start cutting down the fields, the mice appear! we have a small wood opposite our house, and thats where Chancer catches them all...

I have, Mags, and it is, well, not pleasant!! Leia caught one in the house last Summer, and I never could find where she had left it; later she apparently remembered where she'd put it and moved it...it was in the dining room and I stepped on it barefoot...eeek! But it was quite mummified , not fresh....
