Re: Daily Thread - Friday

Afternoon all,
Been to the local boots today and spent a fortune Funny when you go for a specific thing, then you feel you have to get the "go along stuff" Well I have used it and feel good so that's the main thing.
Nothing really bad has happend considering it's Friday the 13th . Although OH went to work in my car as he's bringing stuff home and needs the room in my car. I gave him the keys and got his car keys only there is no house key on his bunch So I'm stuck in as I cant lock the door .
Really, really misty here today, damp and cold. Where has the sun gone?

Re: Daily Thread - Friday

I could ask the same thing, Jac! No sun, chilly and very windy, with heavy all-day rain forecast for Sunday! But at least have made it thru Friday the thirteenth OK so far... Market, papers and crossword, about to put a pot of soup on to simmer,,,still chilly enough for a nice bowl of homemade soup. When is Spring coming? Yola: the boots sound cool ....pic? Have a good evening, all!

Re: Daily Thread - Friday

Hiya all, Glad you've all had a good day took the girls on their own same walk pretty much just took one of them at a time really enjoyed it and it took about 5 hours lovely - both of them enjoyed it very much they like a little "me" time so do it at least twice a week up through the fields yellow and green scrumptious Spring colours, Sal has a dip in the river at the end Tess was more interested in trying to catch crows... stupid pup. Although she's 3 this year.

Cleo very very quiet but I think she is popping out and about at night she has 24/7 access to the outside and the Spring nights were always her favourites.

Oh had fish and chips for dinner tonight - got Cleo a nice piece of lightly batter haddock - she has enjoyed that the dogs have the batter with a little of the fish. But for a small old cat she can't half eat whole piece of haddock no probs. Spoilt maybe, maybe.

Karen

You should not have been on the phone while cooking dinner!

I'm off now too. These forced 6am starts are just not conducive to late night TV or internet chats
