Re: Olivers been hurt..

Poor Oliver, sounds to me like he has had a bit of a confrontation with another cat......

Hope he'll feel better soon....

Re: Olivers been hurt..

Do check him over really, really well Moli - sometimes cat bite puncture wounds are very hard to detect and as Hreow says, can easily get infected. My Mum lost her cat this way

Please give gorgeous Oliver a gentle hug from me; I hope he's feeling better very soon.

Re: Olivers been hurt..

Poor boy - whether cat or another animal Oliver sounds as though he has totaly lost his confidence following the confrontation.
He will bounce back though - lots of tlc in the meantime and checking for abscesses. That could be another reason he might be down too - starting a infection. Keep checking that his ears don't feel too hot (my homespun method of rough temperature gauging)
Hope he'll soon be back to normal

Sounds like a fight Moli. Jazz used to come home like that, he went quiet and invariably he would have an abcess brewing somewhere. hope Oliver is ok.
Dawn.
