You're quite right Kazz.
As far as I'm concerned this is all there is - not a dress rehearsal etc - so we should maybe live each day as if it could be our last.
And - if you want to, and it's practical, and you can do - JUST DO IT (whatever it is). Life's too short and there are no pockets in shrouds.

There was once a saying, Live Very Day As If It's Your Last As One Day It Very Well Will be.
I think never a truer statement has been said.

Re: Friendship and companionship

Its odd because I hadn't spoken with SB for a while a month or so then Sunday I PM'd her and simply said "Hello, how are you" as I do with people when I haven't been caught up with them thread wise etc for a while.

And she replied.

I know the feeling...i think we can all take some comfort (very little to find upon this sad, sad day) that SB didn't have to fight a long term illness, didn't have too suffer (on a broader scale), didn't have to slowly decline from her former self, and to the end-remained dignified
A truly unforgettable woman

Re: Friendship and companionship

Everyone has pretty much said what I feel...this is a family and I feel very welcome & comfortable here; you all were there for me when I lost Patches; I hope I've been there for you when you needed a kind word or some encouragement...you lot are a great bunch, and at the risk of sounding soppy, I love you all!
