Whats the best name you've ever heard for a cat?

Now, my naughty friend, when at college had 2 tabby cats - a boy and a girl. One she called Eric and one she called Sian (Shaan). She names them on the premise that if you went outside and called their names . . . Eric . . . Sian . . . you'd get some interesting looks from the neighbours

I really like Bumble for a cat, but as I shorten all my animals names, decided against it!!

Thankyou! If you could meet the cat in question, he'd make you smile even more - he was a gorgeous black lump with a white stripe on his belly, and his jaw was crooked (due to being thrown out the car when he was ickle

) so his tongue wouldn't always go back in on its own and he'd run around for ages with his tongue sticking out.

I reckon I'll never stop missing my Dishie.

I love the name my friend's previous cat had - I never met him but he was big and black and long-haired, and his name was Marlowe... He apparently managed to get into a bird cage once, despite it being shut properly when he started trying

Ooh, I don't know... I like lots of names when they 'fit' their owner.

One of my friends has a huge fluffy black and white cat called Carrots - I love his name so much!

I've always wanted to name a cat Grimalkin, but it never fitted any of the cats I've had.

That's Pyewacket...cat in a movie or stage play, can't remember exactly!
