I've not come across a Boston terrier so Googled images - they do look like French Bulldogs, although I couldn't tell the scale very easily.

Boston terriers are reasonably common here; I'd never even heard of a French bulldog till I read about them in the Jonathan Kellerman Alex Delaware series of suspense novels.

Size wise... From what I remember my colleague saying, a boston won't get taller or longer than a sheet of A4 paper... Probably smaller.
