Re: Saturday Daily

A late hello to all you catsey people.
We are now in Scotland and we have WIFI (yaaaay) so i can still catsey.
Good journey although very long, lovely site , caravan and beach, we shall explore tomorrow.
Weather has been nice but very rainy now but it's very cosy in the van.
There is a small chippy on the site and we ordered our meals and sat down under a canopy to shelter whilst we waited. A realy sweet little Cat came to sit with us so i will be able to get my cat fix.

Sounds great, Shelley, glad that you have WIFI and can keep in touch. Funny how we always seem to find a cat on holiday!

Re: Saturday Daily

Too true, Eileen. I think a lot of farmers here get cats for mousers and don't follow up with getting the poor things fixed and there are just litters of barn cats and they bring em to the feed store because they know they'll get bought. Apparently someone brought them a "stray ferret" before asking them to help and it turns out it was a mink!!

Re: Saturday Daily

yes definitely wild. i bet you could tell. mink tend to be more solid colored throughout whereas ferrets have patchy markings and masks. if it is all completely brown with no markings it is probably a mink. if it has a yellow belly, it's a weasel

Ah, thanks! The only mink I ever saw was in the form of coats back in the days when people wore fur.

Re: Saturday Daily

Is a Pine Marten a mustelid? I think they are entrancing. Have only ever seen them on the TV though. Do you have those in USA?

Very glad to hear you are safely on holiday Shelley. Also good news that you have a friendly cat in the area. That's what I always didn't like about going away - being apart from my cats. It's lovely if there is a little stranger to make friends with though.

I'm pretty sure we do, Angie, remember a TV special about them years ago.
