when we got harris, we were told that due to him having flu when he was taken into teh cats protection, he also had calicivirus. we have been told that stressful situations could cause it to come back and that he would need antibiotics for him if it did. We were told to look for white spots on his tongue as that would be a good indication that it had returned. |

good news the test came back negative he has just got red gums. but that could be the start of another problem. so apart from brushing how else can you look after there gums? he doesnt seem to be in pain with it, the vet gave him some mouth wash but that does not seem to have worked. |
