Thanks everyone for your replies,
Borderdawn, i have been advised to keep massaging her umbilical hernia back in, in the hopes that eventualy it will stay in.
Eileen, yes Basenjis are barkless although they can produce barks, usualy single ones. They make a wide range of sounds though, including Barooos, yodels and screams.
She screamed at me today when i put her in her crate.
Aquatic, Malaika is Swahili for Angel.
