Re: HALLOWE'EN~ Daily thread.

Evening all,
Quiet day today, spent most of it sitting with a old dog who's had a stroke and is feeling a bit confused
Managed to get him to eat eventually (hand-feeding) which is the most rewarding part of my job!
My pumpkin is now outside the practice, all lit up on the gate-post, lord knows what the clients will think!
Hope Merlin has perked up a bit Angie.
Lx

Re: HALLOWE'EN~ Daily thread.

Thanks for asking about Merlin.

He has eaten his supper - nearly two "chunks" of boiled chicken, hand fed. He's now asleep in front of the fire. He has got another two waiting - maybe he will eat one later before we go to bed and perhaps another for breakfast. I'll have to go and buy some more tomorrow! Can anyone suggest WHY he will only eat hand fed? He drinks water/milk or chicken stock perfectly OK.

A bonding thing, perhaps, Angie? He likes the attention and closeness?

Re: HALLOWE'EN~ Daily thread.

We did a pumpkin!!!

Ken bought one the other day and the boys badgered me to hollow it out this afternoon. Phew - that's a job and a half . . . you mean people actually eat something that smells like that

Still, I have a pumpkin with its gruesome face on the piano and we had it all lit up when the boys where having dinner. They loved it

Re: HALLOWE'EN~ Daily thread.

Evening everyone.

Two days off from work - hurrah. No trick or treaters our way at all.

Not much to report, cold and windy.

Huge list of plans for the weekend. Bet I get about 20% of them completed.

LOL! It's pretty rudimentary to be honest, Eileen. I haven't had much practice in pumpkin excavation
