No nothing I was going to get my haircut when got a phone call from my Auntie Betty's husband to say she had had a turn in the garden my Auntie Betty, is my Mom's sister she has liver cancer and is just getting by but okay. Has regular Chemo I think to keep it in check. Anyhow she was going to take my Auntie Brenda (the 3rd remaining sister) to the hospital as she has learning difficulites and although lives independantly she is in sheltered care she is 69 and the youngest
anyhow she has been diagnosed with a dodgy heart (note my technical term there) this is my Auntie Brenda anyhow as Mom is still poorly I said I would take A. Brenda as she has a speech inpedenment and is hard to understand for a pre Op admission, she can't go alone.
So while I was in the hospital I get a call on the mobile from Mom crying saying Uncle Arnie (you recall my Mom's brother who we put into care last year with Altzimers) has collapsed so I phone the home and find out they have called an ambulance so there I am at QE hospital with A.Brenda I don't tell her as she gets so upset. So I take her home she sulks because I don't take her for a meal as they always do following hospital visits.
I get the hospital in Redditch oh Alexandra is it I forget and look for Uncle Arnie which is where they told me he was going to find 1/2 later the ambulance was diverted to Sandwell. He is being kept in he bumped his head seems he tripped whihc is quite possible he is so unsteady on his feet but won't stay put but of course you worry when they are in homes and confused with Altzimers as to what really happened. Anyhow resolved all this got home to find anote through my door from Jill (my cousin Dad's side this year)
to say Connie my other cousin who is in QE with abrain anyurisum (same as Shadowboxer died from) she has been kept in a coma to recover. Is showing no sign of recovery. And could I make time tomorrow to have a meeting with the Doctors (Con has no children/husband) and her brothers and sister are not visiting whereas the hospital want to make a descision on something.....Lord help me what a holiday.
