Re: Best flea treatment

I'd try Staykill for the house - just for something different.
Capstar to immediately kill anything actually on the cats, maybe Frontline 2 days later - just in case there are any lurkers?
Good luck

Re: Best flea treatment

I've mentioned it in a post before but I highly recommend Program. It can be given as a tablet once a month or as an injection every 6 months (Injection has to be done at your vets).

It works by sterilising any flea that bites your cat, any eggs that get produced can't hatch.

As it takes a little while for the cycle to get stopped, use that in conjunction with the other products people have recommended to get rid of the bulk of them, then any left behind or about to hatch will get affected by the program when they feed.

It's a nuisance I know

Hope you get it sorted out

Re: Best flea treatment

Can I get the tablet form online do you know?

I'm willing to try anything and everything at the moment as I want the pesky things long gone before baby is born.

You can yes, I don't know of any good online sites tho so will let others recommend

They do it in liquid form now too which is given once a month on their food. But I only saw it on a US site so not sure if it's available over here yet.

Re: Best flea treatment

Frontine is spot on for our cat. There is a story on the BBC website today about owners using flea treatment for dogs for their cats which poisons and can kill.

As they say - aways read the label!
