That is very bizarre. A circular prison?? That's got to be some kind of wierd and slightly warped, Victorian invention

LOL!!! My Fifi used to do that to visitors when she was not much more than a kitten. She'd then roll over and lie down and look beseechingly at them so no-one ever got angry with her!

Yes he does! But he's not done that before! Sometimes I think he gets a bit jealous when he's not being the centre of attention.

The Panopticon is a type of prison building designed by English philosopher and social theorist Jeremy Bentham in 1785. The concept of the design is to allow an observer to observe (-opticon) all (pan-) prisoners without the prisoners being able to tell whether they are being watched, thereby conveying what one architect has called the "sentiment of an invisible omniscience."[1]

Bentham himself described the Panopticon as "a new mode of obtaining power of mind over mind, in a quantity hitherto without example."[2]

I'm afraid a pain killer and bed beckons ladies . . . bowing out and heading northwards!

Thanks for a fun quiz with some really though-provoking questions

...... yes, so I picked him up and cradled him in my arms and tickled his tummy and he looked so sweet that I forgave him straight away. He does play bite, but nothing serious and always stops if I say ouch or no. He's a good boy generally squeaking ..................
