Posh Meal Update!!!

Well all I can say is WOWOWOWOW

What a view - Rhodes 24 is in the 24th floor or Tower 42 in the heart of the city and the windows in the restaurant are celling to floor - your are so high up the the helicopters are at the same level as you!!! The veiws were amazing! The food was out of this world, here is what we had!

Starter:

Me: Pork faggot on a caramelised apple with roast pork gravy
OH: Seared scallops, shallot mustard sauce and mashed potatoes

Main:

Me: Pan fried halibut, English summer mushrooms, foie gras and buttered
noodles
OH: New season lamb, broad beans, fresh mint jelly, mutton hash

Dessert:

Me: Warm chocolate pudding, blood orange and champagne jelly
OH: as above!

IT WAS WOW!!!

Managed to buy a Gary Rhodes cook book for my mum as a little pressie - SIGNED by the man himself!!!
