View Full Version : Gardeners
How about we take pictures of our gardens and post them and have a ongoing picture story showing our gardens through the year or summer (or until we get bored  )
Karen
Thats a great idea, I will have to wait till it stops raining!
Good idea Kazz! I haven't got a big garden but I'll take a few pics soon.
Yours could come under the heading of 'water feature' Moli :-D
Thats if he ever digs the hole!!
I was thinking more of the Scottish rain :-D

Hi Kazz my garden is not that great but my nans is what garden shall i take pics of?
Okay we're on then I am 35mm so my pics wont be as quick as you digital people. will have to have them processed a a*da first. :D
Don't worry....we're very patient Kazz :-D
The only good thing about my garden is the decking. The rest has been ruined by the dogs and resembles a mud bath  We are going to block pave it all this summer - hopefully :?
You could start with the pic of your new garden furniture on the decking PK....that's a good one.
That's a good idea Mags, Perhaps I will do that :-)
I thought you had been out just now snapping away :-D
Have you been out snapping Mags?...I will take some tomorrow....
No not yet Moli......I'll have to do one plant at a time or I'll run out of pics to take :-D
:-D
It will be lovely to see how everyone's gardens are doing over the summer. I bet Abbi's is starting to look nice now.....judging by the last piccies she posted.
Yes, Abbi's got a lovely garden.....can't wait to see her pics.
I really wish I could have some hanging baskets, but it gets so windy here, the poor horses would be wearing them...
 @ Moli
How about some wall baskets then Moli?
I really wish I could have some hanging baskets, but it gets so windy here, the poor horses would be wearing them...
At least you could have a weather vane that worked up there Moli :-D
I have some around the wall, but the wind just ruins anything that is hanging..
We moved here from a bungalow which had landscaped gardens(We did not do it) and a wildlife pond full of fish, frogs, newts, all kinds of things, we had hedgehogs in the garden and numerous birds....Now I have to start again....But that house was in a village, and this one is in the countryside..no contest....
I think I would put up with the winds and fog to have a place like yours...
I must admit, I would never move just because of the weather, my dogs and cats have so much freedom living here,I could n't have 3 dogs if I lived in the town...
Do you get much traffic on your nearest road Moli?
I really wish I could have some hanging baskets, but it gets so windy here, the poor horses would be wearing them...
At least you could have a weather vane that worked up there Moli :-Dit would take of Mags.... :-D
Certain times of the day you get 3 or cars, but most of the time it's quite quiet, we are a good bit back from the road, we have a field between us and the road...
That sounds so nice....what I would call civilised :-D
I must admit I do think I am lucky, a lot of peple would love to live here....
IF ever you decided to move I don't think you'd have any trouble getting buyers!
Its not selling thtas the problem..it's finding something else.We sold our last house a week after it went on the market, then panicked trying to find another one, luckily we got this one, there were a few people after this one,...
Are you going to open a new thread in the Pictures section for the garden pics Kazz.....or are they going to appear here?
I think a new thread Mags what do others think?
Not long to go now....counting down :-D
Would be better as a new thread Kazz....
Think Sam started a garden thread earlier with the lovely piccies of her garden...
Really must go and look love looking at other peoples gardens :-D
Kazz.....did you get your photos back today? We are looking forward to seeing them......
You'll have to wait for the sun to come out before I take any :-D
Back and I am about to post them. Mine were taken on an overcast day too - I wish I had waited for sun. :(
