......and she is very lovable. One of her bad habits is, unfortunately, bringing home goldfish from next door's pond during the summer. Wish I knew how to stop her..other than ask my neighbours to keep their pond covered.

Must be five or six over the last few years. She brings them indoors and quite often they are still alive flapping their tails and I can't do anything to save them. :( Good thing the pond has lots of baby ones each year or it would look empty by now! Seriously though, I wish I could stop her doing it.

Apart from keeping her indoors, I don't think there's much else u could do. They should put a cat proof net just under the top of the water (so it's not really visable).

What colours were theY?

She's not been fussy with the colours ...there's been all gold ones, yellow, black & gold and white and gold! I think I ought to tactfully drop a hint about putting a net over the pond, don't you think?

That's so funny! You go Maggs!

I have seen the nets over ponds before too - they would do the trick but it's mentioning to your neighbours that could cause a prob!

Luckly Daisy does not bring in dead things - but my mum has a cat run attached to the rear of her house and her little darlings have bought in FROGS!!!! YUK and mice (alive) mum was seriously not impressed and had to catch the frog in a duvet as she did not want to touch it and had to chase it around her front room for ages!!

he he he he

lol Abs, poor mum!

They bring them a 'gift' so it shows they love you!

Mags - u could always offer to pay for the net? They're not that expensive? A few quid for piece of (cod, oops, er sorry..) mind :-)

It would certainly be a lot cheaper buying the net! Some of the fish she has brought in are Koi and I think they can be quite expensive :-$ .

By the way Azz, why have my last 10+ posts stuck on 31? I'll never make a Senior at this rate!!
