I don't think it was Angie. I seem to remember it as a separate slot, mind you old age and memory being what it is............. who knows?

I remember classic Watch with Mother of the 50s as being -

Monday - Picture Book
Tuesday - Andy Pandy
Wednesday - Flowerpot Men
Thursday - Rag, Tag and Bobtail (my favourite :-D )
Friday - The Woodentops

A black cat called Percy who was the pet of an Officer in WW1 - one of the first tank commanders. Percy went everywhere with his owner, even into battle in the tank. Both man and cat survived.

OH told me about this amazing story and I watched the programme this morning on the Discovery Channel, narrated by Dan Snow.

More about Lt Harry Drader and Percy, his cat can be found here:-

http://www.firsttankcrews.com/tankcrewsd20d25.htm

I have to say that I would never subject a cat to such a terrible experience. I wonder what the rest of the tank crew thought.
