Hello everyone,

I’d like to introduce myself by opening this topic. I’m Sandra, 22 years old and a student in the Netherlands. At the moment I’m doing an internship in the UK and researching opinions about vets in Europe.

I’d like to know what European dog and cat owners want and what they think about vets. Are you happy with your vet? When was the last time you’ve visit your vet? Where do you buy your pets food? These are just a few questions I really like to know.

I hope you don’t mind I’m using this forum to know more about your experiences, but I really like to hear your view about this subject. It only takes a few minutes to fill in the survey.

Please fill in my online questionnaire in just a few minutes by clicking the URL below and I’ll be very pleased!

Thanks in advance!

Sandra

Wish I could help, Sandra, but am a USA member, not in the UK. Good luck!

Hello Sandra, I have completed your form and submitted it. I hope the research gives you a good insight into what pet owners are looking for from their vet practices.

Welcome to Catsey. I have completed this. I thought I would mention that I changed my vet to a 'cat only' vet as he was too stressed being around dogs

Yes, I have completed the survey. Unlike the others, I don't really mind cats/dogs at the same surgery (which is rural and very small).

Good luck - I hope you get a large enough sample for your research.

Actually maybe I should add that the vet I have used for 14 years used to have a mixed pet reception area but for the last 5 or 6 years has had cats in a completely separate waiting and treatment area and it is a much better arrangement than originally - but that's driven by the fact that I am allergic to dogs more than any fear my cats were experiencing.
