Bizzare! All mine do that, either on boots or shoes especially those which are left by the bed. Have to be careful they don't start 'nesting' as they have scratched the leather in the past!

Merlin was the only cat I've had who showed any interest in footwear, and then it was only OH's slippers - many a morning OH couldn't put his slippers on as Merlin had been drooling over them! Strange fetish!

I cant understand why he does it as its not comfortable at all. strange OH said it maybe because it has my smell on it...that opened a can of worms of 'do my feet smell?, what are you trying to say' :D

tis strange Marmaduke does the same, most nights you'll find him asleep on my slippers next to the bed. He'll even get up off the nice bed and go sleep on the slippers
