Wow, some really great shots there, Shelley! Were you really that close to the seals? I love the mushroom pics, I'm into them also, the red one with white spots is stunning. What is that purplish plant after the little frog? Thanks for sharing those. :D

Your fungi photos are wonderful Shelley - such good focus. I especially like the 2nd photo with the fungi on the tree. I haven't seen better photos in books on the subject.

Eileen the Purple plant is Heather, the Red spotted Fungus had a big bite out of one side.
Yes we were very close to the Seals, they looked as if they were saying "Oh no,not another load !"
There were also lots of Cormorants.

What evocative photos!! I think the mushroom pics are really excellent . . . beautifully taken; the wildlife is lovely too :)

Makes me want to visit the wilds of Scotland :D
